The Aztec Building "The Azteca building" (as it is fondly called by locals) has a unique design. The building has a colorful history of local folklore. For those of you who like ghost stories this building has plenty. The site has served as the NINOS, Inc. Main Office since 1990.

Mission Statement
N.I.N.O.S., Inc. will invest its resources to provide services that empower the “familia” and the larger community to produce positive outcomes for children, youth, and families.

NINOS, Inc., Believes that:
1. Effective empowerment allows every child and adult the opportunity to produce positive social, health and educational outcomes to succeed for the constant changes in our daily life.
2. We are a family oriented program that teams up with stakeholders to ensure that every child we work with can advance and get a head start in life.
3. Parents are their children’s first teachers and have the power to be positive role models to their children and keep the program alive through governance, effective participation and advocacy.
4. Our foundation is that every child and parent be treated, loved and respected as special individuals taking into consideration their heritage and culture which is instrumental in positive development and promotes individualization.
5. Awareness, identification and assessment of community needs and meeting them with resources are critical for providing quality services to our targeted areas.
6. Continuously promoting the achievements and successes of our program is important for generating strong community support.
7. We can achieve excellence by continuously monitoring, self-assessing, evaluating and following up.
